The Indian 4×4 major, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), recently flagged off its ‘Tri-Nation Escape 2013’ under its umbrella brand – Mahindra Adventure. To the uninitiated, this is the division of M&M behind all the adventure and motor sports events organized by Mahindra. These events and competitions are held with an aim to let the owners of Mahindra vehicles know and explore the off-road prowess and touring capabilities of their steeds.
The latest event, Tri-Nation Escape 2013, across India, Nepal and Bhutan, is being held from October 21st to October 31st, 2013. Twenty five expedition ready vehicles including the latest SsangYong Rexton, and five service vehicles will traverse the three countries starting from New Delhi and the expedition will culminate after 11 days in Bagdogra. The journey will take the participants through the picturesque landscape of Nepal, and famous ancient cities like Pokhara and Kathmandu will be the stopovers in that country. From Nepal the convoy will head towards the Land of the Thunder Dragon, Bhutan, most popular for its monasteries. While this mega drive will be the ultimate test of endurance for both man and machine, it also promises to give participants an experience of a lifetime amidst breathtaking scenery.
